If you need a local agency, your best bet is to check out your local Yellow Pages OR the Yahoo! Yellow Pages (http://yp.yahoo.com/) and start calling! A good rule of thumb in picking out a reputable agency is to chose the ones who DON'T offer schooling! Call an agency and ask if they represent plus or commercial models. If they do, get their height/size requirements and find out how to present yourself (send in photos, open calls, or by appointment). Remember, this is just like a job interview! Be polite and professional whenever dealing with an agency.
