I first became interested in becoming a model at an early age. But coming from a large family and a small town the opportunity never presented itself. I was in all of the local pageants, and was very involved in local activities. Mostly because I enjoyed getting my picture in the paper that was as you say “My fifteen minutes of fame.” Until I meet a gentleman that was taking pictures in the local mall where I worked and he asked me to take some test shots for him to make sure that his lighting was okay. Afterwards he gave me the pictures and to my surprise he said I had a gift and asked if I had ever thought about becoming a model. Well, needless to say, I was one of the many who seemed to think that only women that wear a size 1 are models until I visited this site and realized that beauty comes in all sizes even mine. That is when I entered the contest to see what would happen. Upon receiving the contest results, I now have a new found outlook on myself and realize that there is an opportunity for me to show the world or a small portion that my size isn’t what makes me who I am but makes me a stronger women. Why do you want to be a plus-size model? I want to become a plus-size model because, I feel like I can contribute to the newfound outlook on what a women should look like. I also want to become a model to show myself that I have what it takes to achieve one of my many dreams. What else do you want to tell the modeling world about yourself? Where do I start or do we have all day? Hmm… I am very outgoing and hard working. I love to be around people and have yet to meet a stranger. I am very dedicated to achieving the goals I set for myself or the goals that are set for me. I feel like I have a lot to offer both inside and out.
